You really must meet Dwayne whose life is about order and rightness, cleanliness, and counting things with precision. Everything in its place and under control - by the numbers. Well, that is, until Dee Dee gifted Dwayne with a lover's kiss. The ending of this tale may surprise you.
Jerold Michael O'Connell has feelings for his relatives. He loaths them. Add a crisis and watch what happens.
Forensics rules story number three as Detective Jack Staal works a crime scene featuring a prominent gay man and his wife, a case which becomes more complex with each discovery. What happens when two unrelated suspects claim responsibility for these murders?
Ah, the possible end of the world - three hours from now - would certainly cause an extreme level of consternation; a very real nightmare. Let us see how a common automotive mechanic might approach the End of Times.
Keven Stewart, loving husband and proud father, was a very wealthy man. When you win twelve million in the lottery, life must be great, right? Maybe not. When life takes a bad turn, a really desperately bad turn, anything can happen. In this case, it does, and with a vengeance.
In the grand finale, we are grabbed by a novella where James Goodal has begun by killing a man, before we flash back to his encounter with an unusual young woman. What might happen if a nice person like you encountered the very worst that the streets could offer? What would happen if the life of someone precious was hanging in the balance? Tension builds throughout this story, keeping you on the edge of your seat right to the final word.
Lighting the Dark Side is fast and very easy reading. William R Potter has been writing for more than twenty years, since he was eleven and attempted his first novel (something about a giant crab attacking Vancouver). In these stories, you will join regular people who are caught up in extraordinary circumstances, where each is locked into situations rendered more complex by their own weaknesses. This collection of six modern tales is designed to exercise your emotions, capture your imagination, and challenge you to think in new directions.
You write great reviews Ted-ever think of doing it for a newspaper? I know New Boston has no library but do they have a newspaper? I am serious-contact themabout doing book reviews!
Oh, Wendy, you are so wonderfully biased, and I love you for it But I only do reviews for friends and fellow-members of favorite Websites. William R Potter is a friend from Authors Den. I purchase their books and read them. If I really like a book and find it to be special, it is then that I write a review for the book. I will never write a bad review, but my reviews will never over-sell a book (worst thing you can do to an author). Newspapers demand drama - either scream the book's virtues to the heavens, or vilify the book and its author. For newspapers, there is no middle ground of simple truth. Besides, at my age, the last thing I crave is a new career as a "reviewer"
