Tear drops so big, They don't understand. Ive changed. That's not who I am. Ive seen you pound Your fist at the earth. Scream at the wind, Lost in your world. Someone to do your dirty work, Someone other than you Will fall, die, be hurt, But you will get through. You never stop to think about How other people feel. To see them in their pain Is never a bid deal. Spread those rumors, Please tell your lies. No one to stop you, No one dare try. Your a huge part in this, So I'll make sure to put That its your fault I'm gone In my suicide note. I'm not that girl anymore, What else must I prove? I'm never good enough, Never for you. So if it makes you happy, Go ahead and hurt me. It doesn't matter anymore, No one can see My pain and hatred, Oh well though. But hey! on the bright side, I never stoop so low
Iloveyouonly, what an amazing and insightful poem. I love the ending. I try to adopt an attitude of, I'd ratherthem do it to me than me do it to them." When we stoop to someone else's level we essentially become them. Great poem.
