Although this was His first miracle, I hope you understand that even today His miracles never cease.

The First Miracle of Jesus

Jesus at a wedding
Cana
in Galilee
Every one of the guests
Singing so happily

Till Mother Mary says
Jesus, dear Son of mine
Bride and Groom informed me
They are fresh out of wine

Jesus says politely
Woman, why can’t you see?
This is not a concern
To either you or me

My time has not yet come
There’s nothing I can do.”
Mary tells the servers
“Do what He tells you to.”

Jesus obeys Mary
Like a good Son oughtta
Tells the waiters to fill
Up six jugs of water

Waiters obey Jesus,
To Him they do cater
Jesus then directs them
"Go get the head waiter."

Head waiter tastes the jugs
Nearly loses his mind
For he knew the water
Had somehow turned to wine

Waiter tells the bridegroom
As people quench their thirst
“It is customary
To serve the good wine first

When they have drunk freely
Serve an inferior
But the wine you’re serving
It's far superior."

Changing of the water
Into a vintage wine
Nobody even knew
It was the Lord’s first sign

For as they drank and sang
Until they had their full
Only Mary knew it was
Her Son's First Miracle

Be back later, time for worship with my Teddy...

Brother Ronnie,
It's a true pleasure to comment
& let you know how I feel about your poems. Plus,
you did say I could borrow & read whenever I felt
like it, so I give you warning that I'll be doing
this from here on out...

Love, Sis Patty :) (Truthfollower)

That is a special I'd love to have been to. He fed the multitude, turned the water in to wine.
Then told all the people, "come and dine" Great write, brother Ronnie.
Hugs and God bless you!!! Love, sis Mae (10)
