This is a poem for all those women who NEVER believe in themselves. They EVER think that they aren't enough for anything. I just wanted them to know that they can make it, there's a greater purpose for them in life and they are not failures.
A woman was created, and man was made. Out of the man’s ribs did she take. Black, yellow, green, orange, blue, or even lemonade, How beautiful you are everyday. Taking after your mama’s beauty, You never knew how much you are worth. Up from your head, down to your toes, How beautiful you are everyday. Having a rough life from birth, You never knew how much you are worth, Now you are grown, gone, far away from home, Working your way in a world that is so cold, Never had love, never had dad, Never had a voice of affirmation that said “Yes you can”. I want you to know, How beautiful you are everyday. Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised. She is more precious than the jewels, and nothing you desire can compare with her. You are wonderful, you are worth, Nothing can define who you are. You are unique; you can make it, so stand up and shake it, Look up in the sky, with your hands raised up high, Shout it loud, at the top of your lungs, and say this to yourself, HOW BEAUTIFUL I AM EVERYDAY, AND MY SOUL KNOWS THAT WELL
