Every morning when I wake up,

A question looms my mind, why has He made me up?

I do many things throughout the day,

But night on my bed, contented I cant lay.

I feel lucky; I’m endowed with everything;

But still in my life I feel i am missing something.



I learnt I should help children of God.

Spread love and goodwill and work hard.

Shouldn’t discriminate on caste and creed.

Everyday do at least one good deed.

Bridge the gap between rich and poor.

Removing black threads, knitting gold and silver.

Spreading joys, making sorrows nil.

In my life I have a purpose to fulfill.

Nice poem, I really like it!
The tips of my fingers
Start to bleed the thoughts
That overwhelm me
