There once was a man named Capone
Who became very rich and well known
For his murderous ways
And his tantrum displays
Where his nasty demeanor was shown

He loved baseball, the opera and whiskey
And business affairs that were risky
Also hot dogs and beer
He could make disappear
When he cheered for the Cubs at Comiskey

In Brooklyn, New York Al was born
Full of hatred and malice and scorn
He was rotten and cruel
He got kicked out of school
Then his parents were sad and forlorn

Al saw profits in hookers and booze
So he figured ‘you snooze and you lose’
To Chicago he’d go
Where much liquor would flow
And he soon was as rich as Tom Cruise

Al had kind of a split personality
And occasional bursts of morality
He’d give money away
Early on in the day
Then by noon he’d arrange a fatality

He got jailed for evasion of tax
And he ended up serving the max
By the time he got out
He’d lost all of his clout
And he gave his accountants the axe

Now it’s 66 years since he died
With his family and friends at his side
He lived life as he chose
Then he turned up his toes
It’s amazing he never got fried
