The voices in my ear
I hear loud and clear

The voices tell me scary things
Louder and louder my ear rings

The voices tell me what to do
Is what I'm hearing really true

The voices tell me to hit and fight
I know however its not right

The voices tell me people stare
All I want is not to care

The voices tell me I'm gonna die
So scared I can't even cry

The voices in my head
Make me wish I were dead

The voices need to stop
Soon I'll get my haldol shot.

I can so relate to this poem. Although I don't hear voices, I did when I was in addiction. Thanks for sharing this poem.
Sending you out lots of positive healing energy.

My fears, those small ones that seemed so big
For all the vital things I had to get and reach
And yet there is only one great thing
To live to see the great day that dawns
And the light that fills the world.
